Get started with JitSEO Suite
A walkthrough of every tab in the JitSEO Suite panel. From your first focus keyphrase to a fully scored, schema-ready post.
Configure your site-wide settings
Once JitSEO Suite is active, go to JitSEO in your WordPress admin menu. From here you can set your homepage title and meta description, a title separator, per-post-type SEO title templates, which content types are included in your XML sitemap, noindex rules for archives and search results, and edit your robots.txt directly. Plus export or import all these settings as JSON.
Find the SEO panel on any post
Open any post or page to edit. The JitSEO Suite panel appears below the content editor, with tabs for SEO, Readability, Social, Schema, and Advanced. Everything you need to optimize a single piece of content lives here.
Type a focus keyphrase to get real Google suggestions
Start typing in the Focus Keyphrase field and JitSEO Suite calls Google's own autocomplete API to show real search terms people are actually typing, so you can pick a keyphrase with real search demand instead of guessing.
Get a live SEO score with a full checklist
As you write, the SEO tab scores your content against 16+ factors (keyphrase placement, title and meta length, keyword density, links, images, and more) sorted into Issues, Warnings, and Good, so you always know exactly what to fix next.
Check readability alongside SEO
The Readability tab runs the same live-checklist treatment against how easy your content is to read (sentence length, passive voice, Flesch Reading Ease, transition-word usage, and subheading distribution).
Control how it looks when shared
On the Social tab, set a custom image, title, and description for Facebook/LinkedIn (Open Graph) and Twitter/X Cards or leave any field blank to automatically reuse your SEO title, meta description, and featured image.
Add structured data with Schema
The Schema tab lets you pick the right Schema.org type for your content (Article, Product, Review, Recipe, and more) and optionally override the headline, description, author, or publisher shown in rich snippets. Also, everything defaults sensibly if left blank.
Fine-tune indexing per post
Need to keep a specific page out of search results, or set a custom canonical URL? The Advanced tab gives you per-post control over canonical URLs and meta robots (noindex / nofollow) without touching your site-wide settings.
Or use the compact Gutenberg sidebar
Prefer working in the block editor without scrolling down to a meta box? The same SEO and Readability scores, issue lists, and tools are also available in a docked Gutenberg sidebar panel. Click the JitSEO icon in the editor toolbar to open it.
Start scoring your first post in under a minute.
Install the free plugin, set a focus keyphrase, and watch the ring fill in as you write.
